Driver has several registrations for vehicle but none for the car he's in
A West Reading police officer stopped a vehicle about 7:35 p.m. April 13 at the corner of South Seventh Avenue and Franklin Street. The driver had a suspended license, the wrong license plate, insufficient insurance and a warrant for his arrest. But what really got police interested were the two vehicle registrations in the back. Neither were for the vehicle he was driving and one was for a car that had been stolen from Hamburg, Pa.
The man was arrested on the warrant and police say he may face other charges relating to the other registrations and license plates. The vehicle was towed. Police said it can be picked up by its owner, with proper registration and insurance information.
